FYI...LMT headed for the Florida House of Representatives
An appointment to the Public Service Commission by Gov. Charlie Crist has presented a wonderful, first time opportunity for the Massage Therapy Profession in Florida.
There will be a special election in Citrus County to fill the seat vacated by this appointment in the House of Representatives District 43.
There are 4 candidates running for this seat. 4 guys and 1 gal.
The gal is Susan Kirk, LMT. Susan is a bright, well spoken, energetic, feisty member of the Crystal River City Council. She is also a practicing
LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST.
The Republican Primary is being held on Tuesday June 5th .
The FSMTA lobby team is supporting Susan’s candidacy. They tell us that Susan is running a vigorous campaign, but needs financial help.
I have met with Susan and find her to be the real deal. According to the latest polls she is currently running a very close second, but needs
