Oral Facial Pain: A Roadmap to Basic Level Care
This introductory class will take the therapist through a brief detailed anatomy and biomechanics of the head, neck, jaw and mouth as well as a history of oral facial pain. Become more comfortable with palpating this area to rule out possible dental issues. We will demonstrate techniques for the 4 most common musculoskeletal issues with this area and what role massage therapists can play with treatment of this area.
