Human Trafficking with Rebecca Pollock FL Provider # 50-9001 | FL CE Course #20-746034 | 1 CE Human Trafficking Sign in starts at 11:45am | CE presentation 12:00pm - 1:00pm This class provides an overview of the crimes of sex and labor human trafficking. It offers a global perspective of human trafficking as a whole, and focuses on human sex trafficking in the United States as it pertains to the Massage Therapy Industry. Participants will be equipped to identify potential victims of sex trafficking and potential illicit establishments, and will be able to report suspicions to the appropriate agencies. Participants will obtain the knowledge of actionable tips for reporting to law enforcement. This class also outlines ways in which illicit establishments operate, enabling participants to identify red flags in an establishment that may be recruiting him/her for employment. Participants will be trained on trafficker recruitment strategies and solicitation tactics, and how to stay safe as a practitioner of Massage Therapy.
