Introduction to CTM - Bindegewebsmassage
This 2 CE course introduces therapists to the use of the reflexes in the body to aid their application of massage to their clients and presents a brief overview of the history of CTM-Bindegewebsmassage (connective tissue massage), its fundamental principles and physiological effects. The therapist will review the reflexes of the body as seen on the dermatone level of the subcutaneous tissue. Pat will demonstrate the proper use of strokes, balancing techniques, body mechanics and draping. At the completion of the course, the therapist will have an introductory level of skills in applying Basic Facial in CTM-Bindegewebsmassage. There will be a lecture, demonstration on the face and hands-on exchange will be given.
About the presenter:

Patricia M. Donohue, LMT, RMT, NCMT has been active in the field of massage for almost 60 years; she graduated from the Swedish Institute, New York City in 1966. Pat is a certified specialist in Connective Tissue Massage (CTM). She has dedicated 80% of her practice to CTM work and gives workshops throughout the country.
