ports massage and stretching techniques to help improve performance in athl
etes. Participants will learn detail information about exercise physiology,
sports biomechanics, stretching and performance, the effects of massage in
athletics, sports related injuries and pathologies, as well as basic princ
iples of the business of Sports Massage.

David is an Associate Professor Seni
or and Coordinator of the massage therapy program Miami Dade College. He is
also the owner of the Institute of Functional Performance, a company dedic
ated to providing quality and professional services in the areas of Fitness
, Massage & Bodywork and Physical Therapy. He also provides educational
seminars and CEU classes for massage therapists and personal trainers. He
is licensed as a physical therapist assistant and massage therapist in the
state of Florida and has been a certified personal trainer for over 20 year
s. By combining his expertise, David has been able to maximize his practice
by integrating the best of bodywork manipulations and exercise in order to
help improve health, resulting in excellent quality of care to his patient
s and clients.
