Lymphatic Balancing Overview
Lymphatic Balancing (LB) is a
curriculum specifically designed to utilize the philosophy, approach, and
specialized manual lymphatic drainage techniques, which were originally des
igned to treat lymphedema, and apply them to the orthopedic patient. LB is
be used to treat excess fluid or swelling, fluid stagnation or lymphedema i
n the clients body. LB expands on the work and teachings of Dr. Emil Vodder
(Vodder Method), Bruno Chikly MD, DO (Lymph Drainage Therapy), Dr. Albert
Leduc PT, PhD (Leduc method) and osteopathic lymphatic pumping techniques.<

Dr. Kerry D'Ambrogio, D.O.M., A.P., P.T., D.O.-M.T.P., is a manu
al therapist and a Board Certified Acupuncture Physician. He graduated from
the Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto, Canada and the
Acupuncture program at the academy of Chinese Healing Arts in Sarasota, Flo
rida. His unique approach follows several schools of thought.
His back
ground in manual therapy includes: Maitland, Kaltenborn, Cyriax, McKenzie,
Norwegian approach, and Osteopathy (Muscle Energy, Strain and Counterstrain
, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy/Cranial Osteopathy, and Visceral
Manipulation, among others). Kerry also has a background in Acupuncture, A
pplied Kinesiology, Orthotics, Muscle Imbalance and various exercise and mo
vement therapies (Janda, Somatics, Florence Kendal, Shirley Sahrman and the
Norwegian approach, among others).
This diverse background provides K
erry with an integrated approach to Musculoskeletal Dysfunction. Kerry lect
ures internationally and is president of Therapeutic Systems, Inc. He is re
cognized throughout Canada, the United States, the Middle East, South Ameri
ca, Asia and Europe as a teacher of manual and exercise therapies.
