< p>This required class provides an overview of the crimes of sex and l abor human trafficking. It offers a global perspective of human trafficking as a whole, and focuses in on human sex trafficking in the United States a s it pertains to the Massage Therapy Industry. Participants will be equippe d to identify potential victims of sex trafficking and potential illicit es tablishments, and will be equipped to report suspicions to the appropriate agencies. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge of “actionable t ips” for reporting to law enforcement. Human Trafficking: Massage Therapist Certification outlines ways in which illicit establishments operate, enabl ing participants to be able to identify red flags in an establishment that may be recruiting him/her for employment.
