DESCRIPTION:
The main tool for self-care we will be talking about in this class is meditation. It is an ancient practice that is possibly one of the most accessible and effective ways we have to maintain wellness. It is free and infinitely flexible. The purpose of this class is to show you little ways that you may add meditation into your daily routine as a way of centering yourself, keeping your energy space tidy and nurturing a balanced internal environment. As massage therapists we use our mind, body and spirit as the tools for our work. Therefore it is very important that we keep up proper maintenance in all three of these areas. When we don't recharge we can feel drained very quickly. But when we take the time, as we need it, to pay attention to ourselves, wellness follows. To be at our best we must treat ourselves as we treat our clients. Using empathy, intuition and knowledge to best serve the mind, body and spirit. Reminder: We will be having in-person meetings for those who choose to attend. The meetings will be held at the Santa Rosa County Chamber of Commerce, McKenzie Conference Center 4315 Avalon Blvd., Milton, FL 32583.Please follow the Zoom Meeting information below for those who choose to participate virtually: **Waiting on zoom link** COVID DISCLAIMER: We ask you to please be mindful of current conditions regarding COVID.
