Introduction to Postural Correction of the Pelvis and Legs
This class will help therapists identify the importance of correcting postural imbalances in the pelvis and legs. We will talk briefly about the development of postural correction work and the importance of creating a solid treatment plan. Learn possible physical and pharmaceutical contraindications to this work. The instructor will provide a demonstration of a few of the techniques and talk about the importance of documentation.

About the Presenter:
Ross Hoffman has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1997 and a Certified Structural Energetic Therapist (S.E.T.) since 2000. He specializes in S.E.T. Body Balancing Massage Therapy, which integrates deep tissue work, cranial structural corrections, and muscle testing. His practice is focused on treating a wide range of injuries, including athletic injuries (youth, amateur, and professional), post-joint replacement care, and preoperative preparation for joint surgeries. He also addresses conditions such as concussions, vertigo, and Eustachian tube dysfunction, especially in infants and children diagnosed for ear tubes. Ross is also trained in a variety of other modalities, including Medical Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy. In addition, he holds certification in Personal Training. He has developed and taught advanced coursework in Postural Assessment, Postural Correction, Cranial Mechanics, and Breathwork, and has taught Structural Energetic Therapy for over 15 years. Ross has served as a sports team trainer for the Florida State Massage Therapy Association and as an Adjunct Professor at Keiser University. Currently, Ross maintains a thriving massage practice in Port St. Lucie, FL, and provides Continuing Education courses to massage professionals throughout Florida.

 Human Trafficking Education for Massage Therapists
This course provides a comprehensive overview of sex and labor trafficking, offering both a global context and a focused examination of sex trafficking within the United States, particularly as it relates to the massage therapy profession. Up to date statistics will be presented. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of potential victims and identify characteristics of illicit businesses. Practical guidance will be provided on how to report concerns to the appropriate authorities, including actionable steps for working with law enforcement. The course also explores common operational tactics of trafficking establishments, helping practitioners spot red flags that may indicate unsafe or illegal working environments. Additionally, participants will gain insight into recruitment and solicitation strategies used by traffickers, along with safety practices to protect themselves and uphold the integrity of their profession.

About the Presenter:
Rebecca Pollock is a seasoned massage therapist with almost 30 years of hands-on experience in the healing arts. A practicing herbalist for more than 15 years and a certified Reiki Master, she brings a deep, integrative approach to wellness. Rebecca is also certified in Qest4 Bio-energetic scanning, a powerful tool for assessing energetic imbalances in the body, and continues to expand her knowledge in the field of holistic health through advanced studies in frequency healing and nutraceuticals. Her diverse career spans work in chiropractic offices, wellness clinics, luxury spas, fitness centers, and private practice. Drawing from both Eastern and Western traditions, as well as energy and frequency-based modalities, Rebecca creates deeply therapeutic and personalized experiences for her clients. A passionate educator at heart, Rebecca is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Natural Medicine. She spent eight years teaching in massage therapy schools in Chicago and served as Director of the Chicago College of Healing Arts (CCHA) for two years. Since 2013, she has been an NCBTMB Approved Provider, offering continuing education in subjects such as Hot Stone Massage, Aromatherapy, Herbalism, Teacher Training, Longevity, and Mindset. In addition to teaching, Rebecca supports fellow educators as a consultant in curriculum development and CE approval processes. Committed to the growth and advancement of the massage therapy profession, she has volunteered with national and state organizations including NCBTMB and FSMTA. She currently serves as Executive 2nd Vice President and Director of Educational Standards for the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA).

Her diverse experiences include positions in customer service, billing, medical transcription, and medical imaging, each of which have contributed to her comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape. For the past 17 years, she has been a licensed Radiology Technologist specializing in X-Ray and CT scan procedures. This role has not only allowed her to develop technical skills but also instilled the importance of patient care and communication in a clinical environment. Furthermore, she has been a practicing Florida Licensed Massage Therapist for four years now. This path has enriched her career, allowing her to work closely with clients to improve their well-being and understanding of their bodies.

Crystal Howard is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is dual licensed as a Massage Therapist and Esthetician in both Florida and Illinois. She attended the Florida College of Natural Health in Altamonte Springs, Florida and graduated in 1999. Crystal has been providing massage and skin care services for over 20 years and maintains her own practice in the Dr. Phillips area of Southwest Orlando. She has trained and worked with numerous skin and body care lines such as Pevonia, Elemis, Biodroga, Aveda, TerraNova, SpaRitual, and Image. She created and developed service menus and protocols for several businesses, as well as, offered consulting services to local Orlando hotels and resorts. Her talent is being able to customize and adapt services that benefit clients while also providing options that enhance marketing appeal. Crystal is also the owner of Rodrick Consulting, an IT company, and The Crystal Element, a corporate-contracted massage business. She currently serves as the FSMTA Executive President.
