Prevention of Medical Errors
This lively medical errors class will discuss the rationale for the study of medical errors and the strategies for prevention.  The most common sources of medical errors for massage therapists will be covered as well as talking through the most effective steps to prevent them from occurring.

About the Presenter:
Ross Hoffman has been a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist since 1998 and is an NCBTMB approved continuing education provider (#1257). He taught as a Massage Therapy Program Adjunct Professor at Keiser University (Port St. Lucie Campus, 2016-2019), Structural Energetic Therapy Teacher Assistant (Advanced S.E.T. Trainings, including Cranial/Structural Release, Frontal Decompression classes, and IST, intermediate). Ross has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2008 and treated many Professional and Amateur Athletes in various sports. He currently serves as FSMTA Treasure Coast Chapter President and previously served as the FSMTA Director of Elections from 2014 to 2022.
