Dealing with Plantar Foot Pain
Brief overview of treating plantar foot pain, including anatomical structures and functions of the foot, ankle and lower leg; pathology, symptoms, and causes of plantar foot pain; methods of treating it with massage therapy techniques and stretching.

About the Presenter:
Jane Kordish, LMT earned her Associate of Science degree in massage therapy from MPC in Monterey, California and continued her studies at the San Francisco School of Massage in their Advanced Bodyworker Program. After moving to Florida, she joined the FSMTA Tampa Bay Chapter Sports Massage Team, completed her sports massage internship at the University of Central Florida, and became a CE instructor for Save Your Hands, Ergonomics and Self Care for manual therapists. Since 2015 Jane has worked with all of the military branches as sports massage therapist for their Military Adaptive Sports Programs (wounded, ill & injured service members). She has volunteered for Walter Reed’s Trauma Recovery Program; the Olympic Paralympic Training Centers in Lake Placid, NY and Chula Vista, CA; AVP Professional Beach Volleyball, US Open Golf, and many others. She has been named the FSMTA State Sports Massage Therapist twice and is also the recipient of the FSMTA & Performance Health Humanitarian of the Year and the Chiropractic Association of Florida’s LMT of the Year. Recently she completed extensive training as a Vinyasa yoga teacher.
