About our presenter:
Pamela S. Tipsword is a FL LMT, Certified Neuromuscular Therapist, Reiki Master, InTune-ition Wellness Mentor, & Creator/Instructor of The Angler Method. For over 20 years, she has been sharing her passion for understanding, mastering, and utilizing even the smallest technical and intuitive skills with both therapists and clients alike. This has served her well when she became a Massage Instructor at one of the massage therapy schools in Volusia County, The Daytona Institute of Massage Therapy, in the mid 1990's. Many of her students and graduates could be heard (and still can be heard) commenting about how she would drill into them the importance of developing the quality of their own work and understanding why they should do so, especially if they wanted to have or maintain a long career in the massage profession. She also taught from the perspective of being a massage therapist, herself. However, after several years, she left the school and shifted her focus back into being an active massage therapist in the field.
This passion for sharing knowledge would eventually turn into her mission of helping clients and colleagues to learn how to manage their own health more effectively by utilizing alternative approaches. The popularity and effectiveness of these ideas have drawn her back into the teaching realm. Within the past few years, she has officially become recognized as an NCBTMB & FL Provider & Instructor for Continuing Education programs for the Massage Therapy Industry. The first recognition involved her partnership in creating the Nuwati Bodywork Education Center. Although in 2020, after the partnership ended & the business closed, she took the leap to move this providership under her own name with her system known as The Angler Method: A Precision Angling System for Therapeutic Massage. The second recognition occurred in 2023 when she was officially recognized as a FL & CE Broker Provider & Instructor. Which means, all of her CE Courses have now been recognized as meeting the criteria to fulfill the “Relevant” continuing education category that is included within the requirements for the license renewal process of the massage therapy industry in the State of Florida.
