 Introduction to Visceral Dynamics
This is an introduction to understanding how organ dynamics affect the movement, tension, and function of the rest of the body, and how massage, movement, and breath affect the organs. Learn the potential impact of organ dysfunction on your clients’ joint ROM, muscle tension, and function. Learn the basics of exploring visceral dynamics in practice. The body’s structure, function, posture, emotions, pain patterns and physiology all depend on healthy organs and healthy organ movement. And vice versa: issues in these other areas can impact organ health. This course takes an integrative and holistic approach to visceral work, and provides an overview of these interrelationships as well as a means to assess and address the organs. Learn how chronic pain, tension, or mobility issues may be related to tension in the visceral system.
