Every touch, every movement, every sensation you experience begins in your central nervous system (CNS). The stress response is a great example of CNS connections throughout the body. It, too, begins in the brain; and sends signals that ripple throughout — changing respiratory, cardiovascular, visceral, endocrine, and musculoskeletal functioning. CranioSacral Therapy, which aims to address restrictions affecting CNS functioning, can directly influence your stress response. In this two-hour workshop, we’ll discuss how CranioSacral Therapy can support better regulation in the stress response, explore the subtle whole-body rhythm called the CranioSacral Rhythm, and practice two gentle and widely applicable techniques that support relaxation. 2 learner objectives o Learn subtle palpation skills, including the craniosacral rhythm o Learn a simple Still-Point Induction to reduce stress and induce relaxation Presented by: Liz Brinson CMT, CST-D - Upledger Instructor Click here to register. 2 CEs (Hands On) |
