FSMTA COMMITTEES

FSMTA Committees are led by dedicated volunteers who help guide our organization's work at the Executive level, covering everything from communications and legislative advocacy to elections, ethics, and events. Vacant director positions are filled by the Executive President until the role is appointed — meaning there's always an opportunity to get involved.

Communication

Oversees FSMTA's public-facing communications, including Massage Message magazine, social media, and the FSMTA website.

Convention

Oversees the planning, organization, and logistics of conventions and conferences. This committee is comprised of Educational Standards, Executive Committee, FSMTA Store, and Volunteer Captains.

Educational Standards

Sets educational standards and continuing education requirements for FSMTA members.

Executive Finance Committee (EFC)

Provides financial oversight for FSMTA.

Elections

Oversees the nomination and election process for FSMTA Executive and Chapter Officers.

Oversees compliance with FSMTA's Code of Ethics and handles grievance affairs involving members.

Legislative Affairs

Represents FSMTA in protecting massage therapy and practitioners as well as coordinating legislative advocacy efforts.
